Hi! My name is Liza Fedotova. I'm an artist and ceramicist. Throughout my life, I've had a passion for cleanliness, order, and systematicity. Working with clay has given me the opportunity to see and draw the line between chaos and order. The acute desire to organize everything drives my inner urge to simplify, facilitate, without compromising the initial idea. The beauty of simple forms, volumes, and clear lines is the source of my inspiration and drive forward.
Since arriving in Israel not so long ago, I've fully focused on creating ceramic pieces. I love beautiful ceramics, but even more, I love functional ceramics. I work entirely by hand. I adore the natural color of clay, so I rarely use colored glazes in my work.
